Frontal Boundary off the Argentine Coast

This photograph in the sunglitter displays a current shear, bare-
ly visible in the sunglint at (1), between the warmer waters of
the Brazil Current (offshore) and the cold waters of the Falkland
Current (nearshore). Clouds form over the warmer waters (2).
Internal waves oriented at a high angle to the frontal shear can
be seen at (3). (61A-52-70)
