S37-151-110 Manila and Subic Bay, Luzon, Philppines Ship traffic
in and out of Manila Bay, and slicks outside of Subic Bay are
hihghlighted in the sunglint off the surface waters. Subic Bay
is flanked by mountains of uplifted ocean crust to the north, and
dormant volcanoes to the east and south. The Central Valley,
the large valley east of the mountains, is heavily cultivated,
primarily with rice, but also some sugar cane. the fields are
obvious in this view.
