Image Caption: Land use patterns can be seen in this low oblique, north-looking
view photographed in September 1985. The Rio Jaguaribe (1) can
be seen in the upper left corner of the view with numerous small
lakes and ponds parallelling its course. Long rectangular fields
are visible interspersed with larger, darker, vegetated regions
yet to be put under the plow. This agricultural region is situat-
ed some 75 km southwest of the Brazilian city of Mocoro.
