Image Caption: The greater Houston/Galveston and Bay Area, Texas, USA (29.5N, 95.0W) is seen in this single oblique view from space. The most prominent feature of this photo is the Houston ship channel, seen as a dark line north across Galveston Bay connecting Houston and Galveston. NASA's Johnson Space Center and Mission Control, is located just north of Clear Lake off the channel. The extensive road and highway network of this great region can also be seen.
