Image Caption: STS059-159-086 West Hawk Lake Impact Crater West Hawk impact crater
(49 46'N, 95 11'w) is the gray, somewhat circular lake just below the
linear lake above the center of this view. To the right of West Hawk
(north is at center, bottom of this view) is a lakeless plain, while
to the left are numerous frozen lakes. West Hawk is 2.7 km in diameter
and is in Manitoba, at the southwestern edge of the Canadian Shield.
The estimated age of West Hawk is 100 + 50 m.y. T576I
