Image Caption: This panoramic view, looking toward the northeast across south central Bolivia (18.0S, 63.0W) shows the Andes Mountains, the foothills of the Andes and the Bolivian plains where several examples of deforestation and land clearing can be seen. Most striking in this view are the differences in elevations ranging from mountains exceeding 15,000 ft. to the plains below at just over 1,000 ft. where clouds and haze obscure some of the forested areas.
