Image Caption:
STS49-88-065: Parabolic Dunes Parabolic dunes (white hairpin
pattern) cover most of this eastern Peruvian landscape. The
color-infrared film clearly shows vegetation growth along dendri-
tic streams, and that the dark-toned elements of the landscape do
not represent healthy vegetation. This is the middle frame of a
bracketed triplet. Hasselblad camera, 250mm lens, color-infrared
film.
