STS49-87-036: Coast of Somalia Internal Waves The sunglint pat-
tern of the Indian Ocean, photographed along the coast of
Somalia, shows a set of internal waves approaching the shoreline
north of the peninsula. The waves appeared to be sheered off at
a front that extends northward, parallel to the coast, from the
tip of the peninsula.
