S43-98-94 - Tampa Bay, Florida
Tampa Bay, Florida and its surrounding waterways were captured in
partial sunglint in this scene. An extremely complex pattern of
surface currents is displayed by differential reflections of sun-
glint, caused by differences in surface roughness and slicks. A
high concentration of boat wakes appears beneath the bridge that
connects St. Petersburg to Sarasota. Marinas along the water-
front, major roads within the cities of Tampa, St. Petersburg,
and Sarasota, and the white Gulf beaches are clearly discernable.
