STS040-152-99 & STS040-152-100 Bi-Directional Reflectance of San
Francisco Bay. When bi-directional reflectance techniques are
used, glare from the water's surface is masked. Differences in
sediment quality and distribution can be seen more easily. Ef-
fluent produced by agricultural areas to the north is visible as
the darker colored water.
