Image Caption: ISS041-E-016740 (17 Sept. 2014) --- One of the Expedition 41 crew members aboard the Earth-orbiting International Space Station exposed this Sept. 17 nocturnal scene featuring most of the largest cities on the central eastern seaboard. Even at 221 nautical miles above Earth, the 28mm focal length on the still camera was able to pick up detail in the image, for example, Central Park on Manhattan
at right frame. The nation's capital is very near frame center.
