Image Caption: ISS036-E-009390 (18 June 2013) --- One of the Expedition 36 crew members used a 180mm lens to photograph this vertical view of the island of Pico, the second largest of the Portuguese Azores in the North Atlantic Ocean. Mt. Pico, a prominent 2351-meter-high stratovolcano on the eastern end of Pico Island is the highest volcano in the Azores. Madalena is a municipality along the coast, home to about 6,000 inhabitants.
