Image Caption: ISS034-E-067270 (12 March 2013) --- One of the Expedition 34 crew members aboard the Earth-orbiting International Space Station captured this high oblique image of the environs of NASA's 1625-acre Johnson Space Center (clearly seen in the lower right quadrant of the image). NASA Parkway can be traced from the space complex eastward almost to Galveston Bay.
Though spring had not quite yet arrived, this particular week sported extremely clear skies and warmer than normal temperatures for so-called "spring-breakers."
