The Bay of Paranagua (center) provides an outlet to the Atlantic Ocean. Inland from the mouth of the bay and located just to the left of center of the image, is the city of Paranagua, the chief port of Parana State in Brazil. Paranagua has some of the finest port facilities along the Brazilian coast and is a major export point for Brazilian coffee and Paraguay tea. Small coastal resort cities outline the coast south (left) of the mouth of the Bay of Paranagua.
