The max zoom level for the maps was increased from 11 to 13 since it was determined that zoom 13 is needed to find photos with an 800mm lens. Two of the map layers, however, do not have tiles for zoom levels over 11 and will show a blank map at zoom levels over 11. So the other map layers will need to be used for zoom levels over 11.

As of 11/6/2014 when I try to pick an image the file is not found, for example:
http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ESC/small/ISS036/ISS036-E-6809.jpg gets this error:
"404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

Server patches disabled one of our servers for a few days, which caused the image detective system to be down. The issue has been resolved.

It appears to me that my queue (dditmyway) has exactly the same images in it as the queue for DDITZDTR (my daughter who is also a photogrammetrist). Is this intentional or is it a bug? It raises the question: Are we all working on the same 90 images on any given day? That would be a horrendous waste of effort. If redundancy is being used as a method of verification we should be informed of that. If there is a way to de-conflict these images from appearing in both our queues it would be greatly appreciated. Although related, we are not the same person. It could explain why the same images keep popping up in my queue even though I have submitted them for consideration on more than on occasion.

Hello, I have submitted image ISS039-E-3842 for the 3rd time. Due to the extreme angle of the photo it is not possible to align it any better than I have. The only tag that can be added are those of individual farms which would not be relevant to the scope of the photo. Please accept it or remove it from my queue as I can see no other contribution I can make for that photo. Thank you so very much!

Hello, for the 3rd time I have submitted image ISS039-E-3836. I have added some additional somewhat inconsequential tags, however I suspect the real issue is the overlay and how it appear to be quite off. I centered my submittal but it is not possible to align the image more closely due to the extreme angle of the original photo. Please review this frame I am quite sure I have it as close as is possible.

Is there a way to suggest that a picture has been mislabeled? For example, the picture

http://eol.jsc.nasa.gov/sseop/images/ESC/small/ISS036/ISS036-E-17653.jpg

says that it was taken when the Space Station was over "-26.2,-94.2" but there isn't any land within several hundred miles of that point. The picture itself looks familiar and I have a vague memory of seeing something like that around Italy or Greece.

There are several images appearing on the "Pick" list today which I submitted a few days ago. e.g. ISS036-E-17653. Did I do something wrong or is it a problem with the system?

About 18 hours ago I finished submitting about 20. All of them remain in my queue today. I will re-tag them and submit them it the hopes they are different frames. Is there an issue with submitting images??

An issue with detective badges not showing up when the badge button is clicked was fixed. The badge button is on the small window you get when you submit a record for a photo and only shows up if you have a badge.

Thanks Mike for your input about the points. We have to check into what happened and fix it. We will gladly accept any other suggestions which you may have to make our Image Detective activity easier to use or more attractive to new users.

Hey guys, the point values on the most difficult images don't look right. They are set to 1.
