Just southeast of these alluvial fans is a narrow north pointing (up-side-down) V of valleys with the Rong River curving northeast out of them. Shadows on the steep right side of the valleys help outline their shape. Follow the right (longer) arm of the V downward to its abrupt end. There is Mt. Everest or Qomolongma Feng towering at 29,035' (8,850 m). The shaded triangular western face helps locate the peak. | |
