This view captures Thakkola Valley and the bow-tie shaped lake, Paiku Co, to the east. The peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri are in the snow covered range perpendicular to the line of Thakkola Valley on the south with the same east-west trend as the Brahmaputra (Tsangpo) River on the north. Once you locate Paiku Co, Mt. Everest is very close!
