This is a view looking north toward Everest, but in the late afternoon--note that the shadows are very different from the morning pictures; the east face of Mt. Everest is now in deep shadow. Find the alluvial fans at the top just left of center and the V with the Rong River curving out of its apex just below them and to the right. Follow the right arm of the V down to Mt.
