Lagos, Nigeria: This is one of the most detailed views of this vast and burgeoning city (8.3 million). Lagos grew by 300,000 people per year during the 1980s and 1990s. While 100% of households in Lagos are connected to electricity and 65% to water, only 2% have telephone service.
