| United States/Mexico: A pair of jetstream cloud patterns move off the Pacific over western North America. In the foreground, the polar jet over and advancing cold front cuts across extreme southern California. Further south, near the horizon, over Baja California, the subtropical jet carries moisture from the tropical Pacific. |
