United States: Entire Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Kaibab Plateau. The exceptional three-dimensionality of this view conveys the great relief and a sense of the long (2.7 billion years) and varied geologic history recorded in the Grand Canyon. Water level in Lake Powell is high following a wet fall and winter.
