STS098-714A-44 United States: Grand Canyon detail. Lake Mead water level is high. Snow emphasizes areas of clearcutting on Sanup Plateau.

STS098-714A-49 United States: Entire Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Kaibab Plateau. The exceptional three-dimensionality of this view conveys the great relief and a sense of the long (2.7 billion years) and varied geologic history recorded in the Grand Canyon. Water level in Lake Powell is high following a wet fall and winter.

STS098-719-29 Canada: Saint Johns Island, Placentia Bay. "Space for Species" project. Although there are no eatherback turtles feeding in the water in this wintertime scene, this area is the capture area for scientists using space data to study wildlife as part of the Canadian Space Agency's "Space for Species" project.
