| Chesapeake Bay: Sunglint or sun glitter is a in this photograph makes visible small details of the Chesapeake Bay area. The sun’s reflection on the water is directed towards the observer, known as "forward reflection". The easternmost landmass is the Delmarva Peninsula, so named because it includes the states of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. The largest body of water between the Delmarva and the mainland is Chesapeake Bay. The sickle-shaped river is the Potomac. |
