Laguna Ojo de Liebre, Mexico: These lagoons and salt pans are part of the west coast of Baja California at Bahia Sebastian Vizcaino. Laguna Ojo de Liebre and Laguna San Ignacio (further south) are critical breeding and calving grounds for the California gray whale (Eschrichtius robustus).
